KARACHI (Staff Reporter): Pakistan’s first International Standard Free School, House of Education, hosted its inaugural sports day under JDC management in Karachi. Over 300 students at the Muhammad Siddique Memon Sports Hall showcased their sporting talents in colorful attire, captivating the audience with various activities.
At the beginning of the event, the nursery and kindergarten children presented flag hoisting, march-past, the national anthem, and a beautiful recitation of Hamd and Naat in a charming manner. The audience applauded with enthusiasm. After the school anthem and oath-taking, the sports competitions for the children commenced. Prizes were distributed among the winners of various races and competitions, including first, second, and third places.
On this occasion, the school principal, Madam Shazia Shabab, shed light on the school’s establishment and highlighted the academic and extracurricular achievements of the first batch of students. She also praised the efforts of the school staff and expressed gratitude to the parents for their support.
As a special guest, Hamza Tabani, the CEO of Tabani Group of Companies, credited Zafar Abbas, the General Secretary, for the success of Pakistan’s first International Standard Free School and other successful projects of JDC. Hamza Tabani commended the excellent organization of the event and presented special appreciation to the school administration, particularly Zafar Abbas.
Accompanying Hamza Tabani in the program were other guests, including former Test cricketer Sadiq Mohammad, international cricketer Khurram Manzoor, cricketer Masooma Jaffri, scout leader Akhtar Meer, trader Al-Haider, and social leader Murad Sohni. They joined in distributing awards to the successful students.
