Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan on Sunday said that Ivanka Trump, the Adviser to United States President Donald Trump, is playing an effective role for strengthening the relationship between Pakistan and the United States.
Firdous Ashiq took to Twitter and lauded the daughter of United States president for her offer for women empowerment in Pakistan.
She said, Ivanka Trump’s offer for the empowerment of women, expressing willingness to initiate several projects for women welfare, vocational training, economic development plans and promotion of business opportunities for youths is plausible.
Earlier on Saturday, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Development Zulfiqar Bukhari held a meeting with Ivanka Trump.
Ivanka offered support to Pakistan for the empowerment of women and expressed her willingness to initiate several projects in Pakistan for the welfare of women.
The meeting also discussed employment opportunities, vocational training, economic development plans and promotion of business opportunities for youths.
Bukhari appreciated Ivanka’s interest in empowering women in Pakistan, and stated that the coordination between Pakistan and America would unfold opportunities for human development.
