Giuseppe Paterno, a 98-year-old citizen of Italy, received his master’s degree.
Paterno recently earned a master’s in history and philosophy from the University of Palermo and was awarded the degree in a ceremony.
It should be noted that 2 years ago, he had obtained his initial degree in the same subjects.
Paterno has once again graduated with top grades, family sources say.
Born in 1923, Paterno grew up in a poor family, despite his love of books and studies, he was unable to attend university as a teenager.
Paterno served in the Italian Navy during World War II at the age of 20 and later worked in the railways.
