IoBM Girls Netball Team Bags 2nd Position
KARACHI – The 1st IoBM Inter Collegiate/University Girls Netball Championship 2021 concluded on Saturday, November 20. The City School PAF Chapter (A-Levels) won the title by 16/12. IoBM bagged the runners-up trophy. The City School (Gulshan: A-Level) earned the third spot while Habib Girls School came at the fourth place. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Dr. Tariq Rahim Soomro, Rector IoBM.
The Guest of Honors were National and International players and National Champions: Ms. Kulsum Hazara (Karate) and Ms. Arfa Saeed (Netball) respectively. Mr. Gohar Raza, Secretary Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF) was also present. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Nadia Ayub, Associate Dean, CESD, IoBM. Such sporting events instill confidence among the players and develop skills of leadership and teamwork. IoBM will continue to host such events in the future. The event was organized by IoBM’s Sports & Student Affairs Department.
