Karachi: In a solemn and dignified event, H.E Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, Governor of Sindh, along with H.E Syed Murad Ali Shah, Chief Minister of Sindh, and Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Minister of Culture and Tourism, joined by esteemed colleagues, Consul Generals, prominent businessmen, and distinguished religious scholars, gathered to commemorate the International Quds Day.

The event, hosted with grace and honor, aimed to highlight the historic initiative of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, Imam Khomeini, in naming the last Friday of Ramadan as ‘International Quds Day.’

This day symbolizes unity across humanity, irrespective of race, religion, or creed, in support of the Palestinian cause and the liberation of al-Quds.
During the event, speakers passionately expressed solidarity with Palestine, condemning the ongoing atrocities committed by the Zionist regime in Gaza.

They decried the destruction of homes, infrastructure, hospitals, schools, mosques, and churches, as well as the deliberate starvation of Palestinians.

Reflecting on the words of Moshe Dayan, Israeli military leader and politician, who called for leaders of Israel to act like “mad and rabid dogs,” the speakers emphasized the need for a unified global response against such aggression.

They condemned the recent attack on the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Damascus and pledged a proportionate response.

In closing, the speakers expressed gratitude for the unwavering support and solidarity of the Pakistani nation, including politicians, religious scholars, and media, for the Palestinian cause.

They wished for hearts to be filled with love, compassion, and unity, and for the blessings of Allah to illuminate paths and bring aspirations closer during the upcoming Eid Ul Fitr.
