Karachi: An important meeting of the Legal Aid Committee of PTCL Pensioners Karachi was held at the Karachi Press Club under the chairmanship of Masood Bhatti Advocate and Ansar Zaidi Advocate. Javed Sufi, Abdul Khaliq Rashid Anwar, Mumtaz Shah, Syed Najamuddin, Ismatullah Farooqui, Sabir Abbasi, Nasir Ghori participated. Under hearing in Islamabad in the meeting Regarding court cases.
Our senior pensioner colleague Muhammad Azam Qureshi informed about the details of hearing cases in Islamabad. In the meeting, it was considered that if Ansar Zaidi’s court engagements in Karachi allowed, he would definitely go to Islamabad to provide legal assistance.
In the meeting, there was a long consultation regarding the court cases and our legal advisors not only provided full support to Azam Qureshi but also assured of their full cooperation in the future. The participants of the meeting We have only requested the pensioners to be a little more patient where they have been waiting for such a long time, because now the cases have started going on in the courts, there is full hope that they will definitely reach some logical conclusion. All those lawyers who are following some cases are also requested to come to the court with full preparation and give reasoned arguments because the future of these cases is not related to more than 40,000 pensioners but more than 40,000 families.
