India: 16 killed, including school children, in bus crash

The dead included schoolchildren, with more than 40 children on board, according to Indian media.

The bus fell into a ditch near Jangla village around 8.30 am, Kolu Deputy Commissioner Ashutosh Garg said. District officials and rescue teams have reached the spot, he said, adding that the injured were being shifted to a nearby hospital.
