Karachi – Central leader of Businessmen Forum and former Vice President of FPCCI, Captain Abdul Rashid Abro has condemned the excessive increase in the prices of petrol and diesel by the government to all sections of the society, including the businessmen and industrial community. Declaring it unbearable, he said that inflation has already set foot in Pakistan and now difficulties will increase for the industries while it will be difficult for people to do business.
Captain Abro said that the prices of petroleum products are unbearable. The increase will adversely affect the overall productive activities and the increase will have further adverse effects on the already weak economy.
He added that the continuous increase in the prices of petroleum products is putting pressure on the poor people which is the current economic crisis. They are barely running their homes in difficulties, the storm of inflation has already broken the back of the poor and the recent increase will shut down industries and create a storm of unemployment in the country, the hearth of the poor’s house will cool down, public transport fares will rise. Increase in electricity and gas bills and increase in consumption of food items, due to continuous increase in the storm of inflation, the financial burden on the labor and poor class is increasing.
