Karachi: Rana Mashhood Chairman Prime Minister’s Youth Programme inaugurated Pakistan’s first Biomechanics lab at NED Karachi. He was accompanied by Vice Chancellor NED Sarosh Hashmat Lodi and other members of HEC.
Rana Mashhood said,” Sports has become a separate industry in other countries and unfortunately we haven’t been able to excel in it, but this Biomechanics lab will help in helping our sportspersons excel in different international sporting events”. He further added about the significance of biomechanics lab,” you often see our players like Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, Arshad Nadeem getting injured. With biomechanics, we can prevent long-term injuries and excel in sports”.
Later, he mentioned different youth programs initiated under the vision of PM Shehbaz Sharif,” If you Dare to dream, we are here to provide you platform”, Rana Mashhood Chairman of Prime Minister’s Youth Programme.

Rana Mashhood Chairman Prime Minister’s Youth Programme inaugurated Pakistan’s first Biomechanics lab at NED Karachi. He was accompanied by Vice Chancellor NED Sarosh Hashmat Lodi and other members of HEC.

With biomechanics, we can prevent long-term injuries and excel in sports. Keeping this in view, the PM Youth Programme will fund this biomechanics lab to develop our raw talent”.
Later, he mentioned different youth programs initiated under the vision of PM Shehbaz Sharif,” previously we formed Punjab education endowment funds to provide free quality education to our youth. This has been converted into a Pakistan Education endowment fund for deserving students all over Pakistan”. Moreover, he said,” Our Danish program has gained a good reputation throughout”.
He emphasized,” Today my focus is specifically sports.
I just came from Baluchistan where I met several students of different universities and one thing is common. We have raw talent but we cannot make them superstars due to inadequate facilities. Our vision is to make 10 sports academies that will be part of the PM talent hunt program.
This time PM Talent Hunt program will consist of 16 sports to help our children excel in more sports. We will groom our talent and Pakistan”.
At the end, he said,” Pakistan is hosting SAF games and it’s time for Pakistan to shine at different international events and make its mark on the international stage. If you dare to dream, we are here to provide you platform and opportunities, Pakistan Zindabad”.
