ISLAMABAD – Responding to the announcement of tax amnesty scheme by Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government,
Marriyum Aurangzeb taunted that it took Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan nine month to imitate amnesty scheme announced by then government of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N).
The PMLN spokesperson added that Imran Khan have taken u-turn on amnesty scheme.
Keeping verbal onslaught up, Aurangzeb inquired that why it was so that amnesty scheme announced by PML-N was haram [forbidden] and tax amnesty announced by PTI is halal.
“Mr. Imran, What is the difference between the amnesty scheme announced by you and the one which Aleema Khan took advantage of”, inquired Aurangzeb.
The PML-N spokesperson deplored that premier had given amnesty to 18 fake accounts of PTI.
