Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Shazia Marri while condemning allegations of PTI chief against former President Asif Ali Zardari, has said that Imran Ahmed Niazi has gone mad and his allegations and statements are not even worth answering.
She stated this while talking to media persons after inaugurating ‘Benazir Nashonuma Center, here on Saturday.
She said that Asif Ali Zardari had never spoken a single word against his opponents.
The Federal Minister said, ‘Imran Ahmed Niazi is a narcissistShe said that Imran Niazi was trying to spread anarchy in the country.She further said that the institutions had announced they would not take part in politics.Shazia Marri said that the federal government did not ignore any province. She said that they were moving with a positive behaviour. ‘We are contacting every provincial government,’ she said adding that the Sindh government was cooperating with them. The provincial government also cooperated with them when the Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had announced Rs25000 each under the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) for deserving families.
She said, ‘Without this coordination a good work could not be continued While giving message to other provincial governments, she said ‘They should cooperate with this initiative because the people will benefit from it.’ She said that under this BIPS’s programme 1.5 million beneficiaries would be targeted. The Federal Minister said that pregnant women, lactating females, and the females, whose children were aged 6 to 23 months would be covered under this initiative. She said that they would also expand the programme. Talking to media persons, Spokesman for Sindh government Murtaza Wahab said that PTI stands for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Intishar. He said, ‘I have repeatedly said they wanted to spread anarchy and create political uncertainty in the country.’ The country needed political stability at this moment, he said adding that the political stability was connected to economic stability, which would help work for the poor people.
