Karachi : I am writing to highlight the necessity of recognizing and promoting Pakistan’s hidden heroes. These exceptional individuals have made significant contributions to our nation across various fields but are often underrated. Recognizing their achievements not only celebrates their dedication but also inspires the youth to contribute something meaningful to society. In the past, underrated heroes like Dr. Ruth Pfau, who dedicated her life to eliminating leprosy in Pakistan, and Abdul Sattar Edhi, the philanthropist who established one of the most well-known social welfare networks in the country, have left a lasting impact. Dr. Pfau’s generosity and Edhi’s commitment to humanity went largely unrecognized during their lifetimes compared to the invaluable contributions they made.
