Karachi 12 June 2023 : The ILMA Student Food Bank proudly announced a significant milestone in 2023, having nourished over 1,126 students and distributing an impressive 23,696 pounds of food. This achievement underscores the organization’s unwavering commitment to combating food insecurity among students in the community.
Throughout the year, ILMA University has worked tirelessly to ensure that students have access to nutritious food, helping them focus on their education without the added burden of hunger. The success of the food bank is a result of the dedication of volunteers and the generous support of local businesses and donors, which have enabled the program to expand its reach and impact.
In addition to regular food distributions, the ILMA Student Food Bank implemented various initiatives to enhance food accessibility. These included pop-up food drives across campus and strategic partnerships with local organizations.
