ISLAMABAD – Abbottabad Disabled defeated Rawalpindi Disabled to qualify for the quarter-finals of ICRC Presents SAF 7th National Disabled T20 Cricket Championship.
Abbottabad Disabled defeated Rawalpindi Disabled by three wickets to make it to the top eight in a match played yesterday in connection with the fourth phase of the ongoing National Championship organized by Pakistan Feasibility Disabled Cricket Association.
Playing first, Rawalpindi Disabled scored 164 runs for the loss of five wickets. Muhammad Arsalan scored 87 off 62 balls with the help of 14 fours and a six while Bilal Azeem scored 13 runs. Muhammad Hussain took three wickets for 27 runs from Abbottabad Disabled. In reply, Abbottabad achieved the target for seven wickets. Abdul Salam scored 81 off 37 balls with the help of sixes and six fours while Fawad Younis 32 and Azhar Badshah scored 20 runs. Altaf Hussain took three wickets for Rawalpindi Disabled. Abdul Salam was declared man of the match.
In the second match, Rawalpindi Disabled was bowled out for 110 while Wajahat Dabir and Kashif Javed scored 27 and 14 runs respectively. For Abbottabad, Pazir Mohammad for 11 and Raj Wali for24 runs get three while Mohammad Hussain got two wickets. In reply, Abbottabad Disabled scored the required score in 10 overs for the loss of two wickets. Fawad Younis was the man of the match.
Today, in the fourth quarter final, Abbottabad Disabled will face Islamabad Disabled.
