The Ambassador at Large for Global Peace & Human Rights and Chairman Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) Imam Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui congratulated the countrymen on the auspicious event, saying that it was indeed a great blessing of Almighty Allah Who had sent Hazrat Muhammad  Mustafa (Peace be Upon Him) for the guidance of whole humanity. “That we have sent not thee (O Muhammad) but as a mercy to the whole of humankind, as a mercy to the entire world,” the Holy Quran defined the purpose of sending the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Prophet Muhammad’s example was the key to success in both the world and the hereafter. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) taught his followers to imbibe the values of love, peace, tolerance and compassion and demonstrate sympathy, love and affection in their dealings and interactions. We need to gain knowledge of seerat in order to understand the true concept of Islam. The Prophet was a great role model for mankind in every aspect of life and that “we should follow the golden teachings of the Prophet in their true spirit.

Imam Allama Ahsan Siddiqui said that this day reminded us to lead our lives according to the teachings of the Holy Prophet (Peace be Upon Him) and the Islamic injunctions. The day marked the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), who brought with him the Holy Quran which contained a complete code of life with comprehensive guidelines and directions for a successful life.

The ambassador global peace & interfaith harmony said that its biggest message is peace, tranquility, love and harmony. He gives a message of hope, tolerance, moderation, peace and harmony in the world by holding Mawlid ceremonies during this month (Eid Milad-Un-Nabi). On this day, let us come together by following the messages of peace, humanity, compassion and kindness of Prophet Muhammad and work together, on the basis of His high values, council and guidance, for a better present and a more promising future for humanity, and promote tolerance and peaceful coexistence.

The ICPH Chief Imam Allama Ahsan Soddiqui said that one of the conspicuous characteristic of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was his dealing with the minorities and non-Muslims as he always emphasized upon tolerance and protection of their rights. The Holy Prophet had told that Islam was a universal religion of peace which guaranteed human dignity, brotherhood and welfare without any discrimination on basis of cast, creed or religion. When peaceful coexistence is not even possible, then we will never get to establishing inter-belief relations. We create a future of hate. We might just be doing that. The only solution to the problems being faced by the Muslim ummah, including chaos, oppression and injustice is following the seerat.

The ICPH Chairman called upon the countrymen to devote their energies for the prosperity of the country and promotion of Islam by acting upon the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The countrymen would make Pakistan a cradle of peace and prosperity.
