All-rounder of the national cricket team Imad Wasim has said that he has not played any match since the World Cup, I do not understand why I was dropped from the team.
In an interview to Cricket Pakistan, he said that he was not given any reason to drop out of the team and he was dissatisfied with what was said.
“After the announcement of the central contract, I personally contacted the team management. Sometimes they respond to me and never,” he said.
“I am 33 years old and I still have a lot of cricket left. I want to play for another four or five years,” said Imad Wasim.
“Likes and dislikes are everywhere, it’s natural, but I request that the player’s abilities must be taken into account before selecting a team,” he said.
“I was consulted before Babar Azam was given the captaincy of the Karachi Kings,” he said.
