entertainment channels in Pakistan are in a race of producing Ramadan special plays
that can keep the viewers entertained and engaged day after day throughout the month
of Ramadan. The race of producing the best Ramadan special play started with the
massive success of HUM TV’s Suno Chanda that took the nation and social media by
storm. HUM TV has always remained at the forefront of bringing game-changing ideas,
unique and meaningful content onto mainstream television, be it TV serials with a strong
social message, comedy sitcoms, Ramadan special plays or other entertainment-based
content. The channel’s previously produced serials Suno Chanda, Suno Chanda 2,

Keeping the tradition alive, HUM TV, once again is back with two trailblazing serials with
unique storylines and prominent ensemble star casts to keep viewers entertained and
on the edge of their seats. Drama serial Very Filmy, the channel’s main presentation
this Ramadan is by the director of the Fairy Tale fame, Ali Hassan and written by
Muhammad Ahmed. Very Filmy is a rom-com with lots of laughter, love and lots of filmy
moments. The serial offers fresh pairings of the very talented Dananeer Mobeen &
Ameer Gilani. The serial promises to entertain everyone with the delightful mix of
romance, fun and comedy. Produced by MD Productions, Very Filmy boasts a stellar
ensemble cast comprising Bushra Ansari, Mira Sethi, Behroz Sabzwari, Umer Khan, Ali
Safina, Momina Munir, Deepak Parwani, Nabeel Zuberi and others. Starting from first
Ramadan, Very Filmy will air every evening at 9 pm.
This year, the audiences will also see their favourite Aena Khan and Khaqan
Shahnawaz pairing up for Dil Pe Dastak. This light hearted romantic serial is written by
Hassan Imam, directed by Ali Masud Saeed and produced under the banner of
MominaDuraid Productions. Dil Pe Dastak boasts a stellar mix of great talent such as
Tamoor Akber, Parishae Adnan, Arjumand Rahim, Saman Ansari, Sakina Samoo,
Behroz Sabzwari, Farhan Ali Agha and others. Starting from first Ramadan, Dil Pe
Dastak will air every evening at 7 pm.
Keeping the tradition of introducing young aspiring talent onto mainstream television
alive, HUM TV introduces popular Vlogger/Influencers Tamoor Akber aka Taimooriii,
Umer Khan aka Ukhano and Momina Muneer for the first time on television screen in
these serials.
