Pakistan’s premier entertainment TV channel, HUM TV once again dominated the television plays categories at the 19th LUX Style Awards 2020, bagging six awards from eight categories. The channel also won the award for Best Original Sound Track, taking its awards tally to seven which is the highest number won by any TV channel this year.
Kashif Nisar won the Best Play Director award for HUM TV’s Ranjha Ranjha Kardi with Faiza Iftikhar bagging the Best Play Writer award for the same play. The versatile Zahid Ahmed and Imran Ashraf won the Best TV Actor – Critics and Best TV Actor – Viewers’ Choice awards for their incredible performances in Ishq Zahe Naseeb and Ranjha Ranjha Kardi respectively. The stunning Iqra Aziz and everyone’s favorite Yumna Zaidi won the Best TV Actress – Critics and Best TV Actress – Viewers’ Choice awards for their performances in Ranjha Ranjha Kardi and Inkaar respectively. The OST of Ranjha Ranjha Kardi by JB Sisters won the award for BEST Original Sound Track. Apart from sweeping the television categories, the gorgeous Mahira Khan won the Best Film Actress – Critics and Best Film Actress – Viewers’ Choice awards for HUM Films’ Superstar, produced by Momina & Duraid Films.
