After the Hub Dam of Balochistan, which supplies water to Karachi and Balochistan regions, was completely filled, water was released from its spillways for several days.
After the recent heavy rains, the situation turned very unusual on Monday, with abnormal release of water from the spillways of the Hub Dam, causing flooding in the Hub River, prompting the imposition of a state of emergency.
People are being evacuated from communities along the Hub River, with an estimated flow of several feet of water in the Hub River.
The overflow water from the hub team exceeds the capacity of the new road bridge built at Band Murad for Karachi.
According to the residents of the area, this water is continuously increasing and currently there is a high level of flood in the Hub River.
