Karachi: The National Institute of Banking and Finance, Pakistan (NIBAF,P) was officially launched today. This new institution combines the Institute of Bankers Pakistan (IBP) and the National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF) into a single, powerful entity. The inauguration took place in Karachi, with Mr. Jameel Ahmad, the Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), as the chief guest.
The event was a significant milestone, drawing a large audience that included the SBP Governor and Deputy Governor, past and present SBP officials, bank presidents, and senior financial leaders. This merger represents a major step forward in strengthening Pakistan’s banking sector by providing top-notch training and resources.
With the launch of NIBAF,P, the focus is on developing a more skilled and capable workforce in the banking industry, paving the way for future growth and excellence.
