The Founder-Chancellor of Hamdard University, Shaheed Hakim Mohammed Said, believed in the power of the youth and hence struggled to build a paradigm of education, which helped our youth to discover the best path for themselves and become the leaders of the future.
In line with Hakim Sahib’s vision, Hamdard University is proud to host its fourth edition of the Career Fair in collaboration with Kubix Creative, powered by GFS Builders and mentored by the Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialisation, HU, held on March 31, 2022, at the Expo Centre, Karachi. The event began with a formal inauguration by the Chief Guest, Mrs. Sadia Rashid – (President Hamdard Foundation Pakistan & Chancellor, Hamdard University), Guest of Honor, Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan – (Chairman, Brookes Pharma), Prof. Dr. Syed Shabib ul Hasan – (Vice-Chancellor, Hamdard University) and Mr. Kaleem Ahmed Ghias – (Registrar, HU).
“More than anything, this event is the biggest reflection of how Hamdard University is providing the opportunities to not only its students, but the overall youth of this country to learn and grow.” – said the Chief Guest, Mrs. Sadia Rashid.
Around 100 well-reputed companies participated in the Career Fair from corporate, education, fashion, media, finance, IT, banking, health, pharmaceutical, and social sectors. The event received an overwhelming response as more than 20,000 students, jobseekers, and visitors from diversified backgrounds participated and connected with their potential employers.
While appreciating the efforts of students, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Syed Shabib ul Hasan said, “This event is purely organized by our students with the support of their mentors. Our focus is to prepare the youth and mold them into pioneering professionals of tomorrow.”
