Hamdard Foundation distributes blankets among suffering humanity

KARACHI: Hamdard Foundation distributed blankets among deserving people in different cities, towns and villages of Pakistan during the winter as part of its annual relief program under which this year, 300 blankets were distributed in Quetta, 250 in Peshawar, 300 in Lahore, 300 in Othal, Lasbella, Hub; 400 in interior Sindh, 288 in Islamabad, Rawalpindi; 150 in different areas of Karachi including Mahmoodabad, Hazara Colony, and Azam Basti.

Speaking in this regard, Hamdard Foundation President Ms Sadia Rashid said that her organization’s aim had always been to help and serve the suffering humanity.

She further stated that by carrying forward the mission of Shaheed-e-Pakistan Hakim Mohammed Said, the Hamdard Foundation had been working since last several decades to distribute blankets and ration among needy people besides organizing free medical camps for them in different cities and districts of Pakistan.

In this regard, Director Admin & HR, Hamdard Foundation Pakistan Syed Muhammad Arsalan said that under the leadership of President Hamdard Foundation Ms Sadia Rashid, the relief work was being carried out with great effort for the welfare of suffering humanity.

As part of the relief program, free medical camps were also set up in different areas of Sindh including Lok Bajer Methi, Goth Mokhai of Taluka Nagar Parker and Goth Lal Khan Leghari, where 1500 men and women were physically examined and medicines were also provided to the patients.

Apart from this, free medical camps were also set up in different areas of Balochistan, including Vendar, Daam, Goth Ghulam Muhammad and Goat Chakar where 700 people were examined by the qualified doctors of Hamdard Foundation.

This initiative of Hamdard Foundation Pakistan was greatly appreciated by the local population. Special prayers were offered for the success of Hamdard Foundation Pakistan, which has been an example of the welfare and goodness of humanity in the spirit of service to humanity in the past and in the future.
