Karachi — The German-Pakistani Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GPCCI) met with senior German diplomatic representatives during Day 2 of the High Level EU–Pakistan Business Forum, highlighting strengthened economic and commercial engagement between Pakistan and Germany.

The delegation included the Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Karachi, H.E. Thomas E. Schultze, and First Secretary of the German Embassy in Islamabad, Ms. Janine Rohwer. Discussions focused on expanding bilateral trade, investment opportunities, and strengthening business-to-business cooperation between European and Pakistani markets.
Representatives from leading international companies, including Siemens Energy and DHL, also participated in the forum, reflecting growing private sector interest in Pakistan’s economic landscape and logistics, energy, and industrial sectors.
The engagement, coordinated with the German Embassy Islamabad and the German Consulate General Karachi, underscored the importance of sustained dialogue between European investors and Pakistani business institutions to enhance trade facilitation and economic cooperation.
Participants emphasized the role of structured partnerships in unlocking new opportunities in energy transition, supply chain development, and industrial modernization across Pakistan.
The EU–Pakistan Business Forum continues to serve as a key platform for fostering international collaboration and strengthening economic ties between Europe and Pakistan.
