KARACHI – Sindh Governor Kamran Tissori has said that Upleta Memon Association deserves his heartfelt felicitations for providing a great source of entertainment for the youth.
He said that the common man benefits from welfare projects and this is also the basis of welfare society.
In this context, the aims and objectives and welfare measures of Upleta Memon Association are very impressive.
Governor Sindh said that the managing committee and officials of Upleta Memon Association deserve congratulations for providing an excellent source of entertainment for the youth.
Javed Idris and Haji Masood Parekh of Upleta Memon community were also present on this occasion.
The Governor of Sindh said that it is gratifying that Upleta Memon Association is continuously striving to promote healthy trends, while providing scholarships to male and female students and providing better treatment facilities to patients is a commendable act.
He said that Upleta Memon Association has ensured continuity of sports promotion by organizing Upleta Cricket League Season 3 which is commendable.
Sindh Governor said that this tournament, which will last for 20 days, will definitely bring positive results to the society.
He said that it is a great pleasure to know that the Upleta Memon Association is very much impressed by the actions taken by me so far.
Governor of Sindh said that the purpose of Iftar for 30 days of holy Ramadan to the people of Karachi was to make people realize that their governor is standing with them.
He further said that ‘bell of hope’ has also been set from 12 pm to 8 am, people can bring their problems so that they can be solved.
While taking a jibe to the former PM Imran Khan, he said that the promise of opening the doors of the Governor House to the public and making it a university was someone else’s.
In Ramadan, thousands of people came to the Governor House to Iftar.
The Governor of Sindh said that IT courses are also being started regularly in the Governor’s House. He expressed the hope that with the support of the people, the projects will continue to be started in the future.
