Karachi – In a statement today, Hanif Gohar, former Chairman ABAD, former Senior Vice President of
FPCCI, Secretary General, UBG-Southern Zone and a prominent figure in the business
community, has strongly condemned the recent statement and attitude of Anjum Nisar
regarding Federal Minister Gohar Ejaz. Gohar criticized Nisar for venting his frustration and
attempting to divert attention from his alleged wrongdoings within FPCCI, a matter well-known
to members of the business community.

Hanif Gohar went on to emphasize that Gohar Ejaz is a true representative of the business
community and possesses a profound understanding of the current economic challenges, both at
the national and international levels, that the business community faces.
He stated that the entire business community stands united in condemning Anjum Nisar for his
unprofessional and biased behavior, prominently exhibited during a recent meeting with Federal
Minister for Commerce, Gohar Ejaz.
Prominent members of the business community from various sectors have expressed their
strong disapproval of Anjum Nisar’s actions, which they view as a manifestation of his frustration
and the grievances he holds against the business community, which has rejected him and his
political endeavors.
Hanif Gohar called upon the Lahore Chamber to issue a show-cause notice to Anjum Nisar for his
unprofessional, unethical, and biased conduct during an event that should have fostered
constructive dialogue.
Furthermore, Hanif Gohar raised concerns about the management of the apex body, noting that
it had assumed its position through questionable means, a matter of ongoing discussion within
the business community.
Hanif Gohar lamented that the present management of FPCCI, Anjum Nisar, and other office
bearers, have come under significant scrutiny due to allegations of substantial embezzlement in
FPCCI’s accounts, an issue that has severely impacted its financial stability.
