Negotiations between the government and the opposition are likely to begin soon and general elections will be held in the country in October.
After the Punjab by-elections on July 17, political instability has deepened in the country, which is also having negative effects on the country’s economy.
Sources say that in view of the current political and economic instability, the establishment is considering persuading the politicians for negotiations as in the past, but the final decision in this regard has to be taken by the politicians.
According to the sources, after the unconditional intervention of the establishment between the government and the opposition, the negotiations between the parties are likely to start soon and the chances of general elections in October are becoming clear.
Sources say that during Imran Khan’s Islamabad march on May 25, the establishment had persuaded the politicians to negotiate, but unfortunately positive negotiations could not take place at that time.
In this regard, the press conference of PML-N leader Talal Chaudhry is also of great importance, in which he clearly said that in the past we were sometimes pushed to one side and sometimes to the other side, but now we should not be pushed towards elections by force. And politicians should be allowed to do politics.
