KARACHI : Mr. Jawed Bilwani has appointed CEO KHA Architecture, Business and IR Mr. Kafeel Hussain as the Vice Chairman of the Diplomatic Missions and Embassies Liaison Sub-Committee of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) for the year 2025-26, a regular notification was issued. On this occasion, Kafeel Hussain thanked President KCCI Javed Balwani, Chairman BMG Group Zubair Motiwala and Chairman SME Committee Abdul Majeed Memon and said that he is committed to close cooperation with the KCCI team and all stakeholders. By promoting international cooperation, an important role can be played in the country’s development, while he will also make full efforts to further strengthen Pakistan’s economy. He said that there is a need to strengthen ties so that it can increase export of its products to global markets. Free Trade Agreements (FTAS) and promotion of bilateral trade relations can help Pakistan gain trade privileges with other countries. In addition, strong ties with the World Trade Organization (WTO) and participation in global agreements can also be important. Kafeel Hussain said that Pakistan needs to promote foreign investment is providing a conducive environment for which Pakistan is being provided with facilities and incentives to investors, while efforts are being made to put Pakistan on the path of development through economic and political stability. He said that in order to make Pakistani products globally recognizable, their quality needs to be improved so that the demand for Pakistani products in foreign markets can increase, while there is also a need to develop a strategy for exploring new markets and marketing them internationally, and it is also important to cooperate with other countries to promote world-class technical skills. Kafeel Hussain said that Pakistan has to cooperate with other countries to strengthen its position globally in the modern technology and IT sector because Pakistan can further develop its economy by partnering with global technology companies and research institutions. In addition, Pakistan should also increase its participation in scientific research, innovation and innovative products at the global level, which can take Pakistan to new heights globally.
