In Punjab province where load shedding is highest, the gas crisis has intensified.
Gas supply to Punjab textile mills has been stopped. Textile mills in Punjab have been shut down due to power outages and gas outages.
According to sources, there was a shortage of gas due to untimely inclusion of LNG in the system. Due to non-anchoring of LNG ship Karachi, there was a shortage of gas in the system.
The spokesman said that the gas supply to the textile mills using the Capto power plant was cut off and the shortage of gas would end once the LNG ship anchored.
