Karachi: Mr. Atif Ikram Sheikh, President FPCCI; President ECO-CCI and VP CACCI, has said that the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) – the apex body representing the entire business community of Pakistan – extends its heartfelt appreciation and congratulations to the Sindh Police, particularly the Sukkur Range Police and Sindh Rangers, for their outstanding bravery, professionalism and dedication in
neutralizing a highly dangerous criminal gang through a successful joint operation during the last week.
Mr. Atif Ikram Sheikh stated that the business community of Pakistan wholeheartedly applauds the Sindh Police and Sindh Rangers for this courageous and decisive action that has eliminated a major threat to peace and security in the province. Such operations reflect the unwavering commitment of our law enforcement agencies to protect citizens and businesses, often at great personal risk.
Mr. Atif Ikram Sheikh maintained that FPCCI is proud of sacrifices and resolute efforts of police and rangers; which have played a pivotal role in significantly reducing the crime rate across Sindh and creating a safer environment for business, commercial, industrial, trade and economic activities.
Mr. Abdul Mohamin Khan, VP & Regional Chairman Sindh, FPCCI, added that the tireless work of the Sindh Police, especially in the Sukkur region, has brought remarkable improvement in law and order. Their sacrifices and proactive operations have not only dismantled criminal networks; but, have also contributed substantially to lowering the overall crime rate in the province. The business community in Sindh stands firmly with our brave police force and assures full support in their mission to maintain peace and security.
Mr. Abdul Mohamin Khan particularly paid tribute to the exemplary leadership of Home Minister Sindh; Inspector General of Police Sindh; Sindh Rangers, DIG Sukkur and SSP Sukkur for their strategic guidance and relentless pursuit of peace. The gang eliminated in the strategic and professionally-carried operation was involved in numerous heinous crimes against humanity and peace of the province; including, terrorist activities, deadly attacks on the innocent civilians, police encounters, extortion cases, brutal robberies and major dacoities, he added.
FPCCI reaffirms its solidarity with the Sindh Police and all law enforcement agencies, recognizing their invaluable sacrifices in making Sindh a safer and more prosperous province for all domestic and international businesses – fostering an investor-friendly; pro-business; people-centric and growth-oriented environs.
