Minsk: To commemorate the National Day of Pakistan, a flag-hoisting ceremony was held at the Residence of the Embassy of Pakistan, Minsk today on 23 March 2023. The ceremony was attended by the Pakistani diaspora and a few Belarusian friends.
Ambassador Sajjad Haider Khan raised the national flag to the tune of the national anthem of Pakistan. Addressing the participants, he delivered the message from the Prime Minister of Pakistan whereby a glowing tribute was paid to the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and the other leaders of the Independence Movement, whose unwavering struggle culminated in freedom for the Muslims of the subcontinent.
