Five newly elected members of PTI Punjab Assembly have taken oath. Speaker Punjab Assembly Pervez Elahi administered oath to the members.
According to details, Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi presided over the meeting of the Punjab Assembly today. Government and coalition members did not attend the meeting.
Batool Zain, Saira Raza and Fauzia Abbas have been sworn in for the women’s seats in the Punjab Assembly, while Habakkuk Rafiq and Samuel Yaqub have been sworn in for the minority seats.
It is to be noted that the Election Commission had issued notification to the PTI members on the 5 reserved seats of the Punjab Assembly which became vacant after the disqualification of the deviant members.
