PTI leader Firdous Ashiq Awan was stopped from going to Dubai at the airport, she was on a private airline flight from Islamabad to Dubai.
According to FIA sources, Firdous Ashiq Awan was traveling abroad using a blue passport.
FIA officials said that the Blue Passport cannot be used after termination of government post or official status, as per the rules the Blue Passport has to be returned.
FIA officials say that Firdous Ashiq Awan did not return the blue passport, she has been told that she cannot travel on this passport.
Firdous Ashiq Awan’s passport has been seized by the authorities, after which she has returned home.
