In a message released on the social networking website Twitter, Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal said that the family involved in the incident had come to Narowal and apologized for their actions in the meeting.
“The family involved in the incident has also expressed remorse and embarrassment. I have already announced that I will not take legal action against them,” he said.
Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal further said in his message that we are all Pakistanis, we must not turn the right to disagree with each other into hatred and maintain mutual respect.
It may be recalled that a day ago, after seeing Ahsan Iqbal in a restaurant in Bheera, Punjab, some women present there started chanting slogans against him.
