Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani has expressed concern over the serious situation in the Middle East and said that Pakistan expresses solidarity with the Palestinians.
In a statement, Jalil Abbas Jilani said that Pakistan is deeply concerned about the growing tension in the Middle East and the loss of innocent human lives.
He said that Pakistan demands an immediate end to atrocities by the Israeli occupying forces, and the establishment of an independent state of Palestine should be based on the pre-1967 borders and UN resolutions.
Jalil Abbas Jilani says that the international community needs to play its role to end the conflict and protect the citizens.
He also says that the international community needs to intervene to work for lasting peace in the Middle East.
It should be noted that yesterday, Hamas carried out a counter-action on the fiftieth anniversary of the Arab-Israeli war, and for the first time in the early morning, it carried out a simultaneous land, sea, and air operation from Gaza.
