Karachi (Staff Reporter) Mehmood Bhatti, an internationally renowned fashion designer who came from France, said that there are many opportunities for fashion designing in Pakistan, there is also a lot of scope for mutual competition and there is a lot of talent among Pakistani young students.
Pakistan’s name is to shine, Pakistani designers should also have access to the European market, Mahmood Bhatti expressed these thoughts to the students of the Fashion Designing Faculty at Millennium University, “Fashion in Pakistan”. Speaking on the topic of “Future of Designing”, the lecture was arranged by Pakistan Film TV Journalists Association. On this occasion, Rector of Millennium Institute Dr. Huma Baqai welcomed Mahmood Bhatti and informed about the faculties Activities , Prof. Asma Faraz, Head of Department and his team gave Mr. Bhatti a visit to the Art and Design Department
Addressing the students, Mehmood Bhatti added that the purpose of his visit is to express his sincere gratitude to these educational institutions for empowering the next generation of creative minds. The future of fashion designing in Pakistan is bright for which there is a need to highlight the creativity of the students for which government patronage is required. I did not lose courage and achieved this position by continuous struggle. My message to the young students is to work hard.
Fashion designing is a creative work and with time you can survive in this field only through creation on a daily basis and the name of Pakistan. The interactive session provided an invaluable opportunity for students and faculty to ask questions directly to the fashion icon and gain insights from her decades of experience, said Asma Faraz. Mr. Bhatti’s passion, global achievements, and dedication to nurturing young talent left a lasting and deep impression on all the students present in the session.
