Karachi: Mahfil Murtaza Karachi organized a festival of unity among Muslims to celebrate Eid Milad-ul-Nabi, focusing on the life of the Holy Prophet and Quranic teachings. This event, now in its 32nd year, aims to bring different Muslim communities together. Prominent Naat Khan Qari Waheed Zafar Alhaj Siddiqui Ismail performed beautiful devotional songs during the gathering.
Scholars from various Muslim traditions, including Shia and Sunni communities, participated, making the event a strong symbol of unity. Their presence highlighted the importance of coming together in faith.
This year, the celebrations will take place on September 16 and September 21, 2024, at Murtaza PECHS in Karachi, starting at 9 PM. The first program on September 16 will begin with a Quranic recitation by Qari Shakur Ali, followed by a Naat presentation by Tahir Ali Rasheeq. There will also be a discussion titled “Message of Sirat Tayyaba” featuring respected speakers. The event will conclude with prayers presented by Sahibzada Shah Hussainuddin Rahmani, emphasizing unity among Muslims.
