Education system is totally not as per the requirements; students here focus more on their marks and percentages instead of learning. Learning doesn’t mean to start cramming; it only means to study, to understand and to learn from it. If you are not learning so there’s no need to study. Education system is totally abandoned/destroyed in Pakistan.
Besides that, if we talk about different fields and their scopes; so first of all, a student should always pick his/her field of education as per their interest because if you’ll pick it because of someone else or by seeing their scope so you can’t study it at all.
A field should be chosen according to a student’s interest as if i talk about myself, I’m an average student and interested in Media Sciences so I’m just doing intermediate in the field of commerce. Even commerce is not that easy but it’s all about what you want to do or become in future.
In Intermediate, there are around 4 fields; Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, Commerce and Arts. In Pakistan, some of the students pick their field of education as per how much they feel themselves capable of studying and then secondly their interest.
Pre-Medical is a field in which you study all about medical which means it is for becoming any type of doctor. Any type of doctor means, physiotherapist, dermatologist, gynecologist and cardiologist etc. Students of this field can become a doctor and even a banker, it has no limits you can simply transfer yourself to any job.
Pre-Engineering is a field in which you study all about engineers which includes civil engineers, chemical engineers etc. Students of this field can become an engineer and can do any job related to it.
Commerce is field in which you study about business, accounts, management, finance and information technology. Students of this field can become a banker, manager and the best thing to start a business. And Arts is said to be the easiest field and you can do a business and some jobs after studying this.
Difference between these fields; Pre-Medical is said to be the most difficult field and arts as the easiest one but nothing is difficult if you are interested. If you have done Pre-Medical or Pre-Engineering, you can jump into any of the studies or any of the business or jobs. Commerce and Arts are really good options, but you cannot jump into medical or engineering after studying these.
All of the fields are really good in respect to student’s interest. It would be very good if the government tries to improve the education system.
