Initially, I was supposed to play the female lead in another project (with a different channel), but they rejected me, which left me disheartened. I then immediately accepted the role in Dilruba, and here I am today.”
On another occasion, Durefishan stated that she entered showbiz on her own and that her father, although a producer, did not assist her in becoming an actress.
