Dr. Zubaida Metlo She was born on July 31st, 1955, in Qamber, District Qamber Shahdadkot. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology and Sociology and began her career at the National Bank of Pakistan Zonal Office in Hyderabad, Sindh.
From 1983 to 1985, Dr. Metlo served as a lecturer in various colleges, and from 1985 to 1988, she worked in the Public Administration Department of Sindh University. In 1992, she was appointed as the Principal of Mehran University Public School. Additionally, she worked as a Librarian and Administrator at the Institution of Irrigation and Drainage of Mehran University.
Since 2003, she has been residing in the U.K., where she completed her Ph.D. from the University of Leeds in 2005.
Dr. Metlo has made significant contributions to literature, social research, and Sindhi poetry, reflecting her noble and progressive outlook. Among her contributions is a poetry book entitled “??? ??????” (Dhat Duhari).
