New Jersey USA – Dr. Gholam Mujtaba, Chairman Pakistan Policy Institute USA and a Senior Republican Leader hosted a discourse at his New Jersey residence to explore ways and means in achieving an end to hostilities in Israel and PA (Palestinian Authority).
The discourse was attended among others by Mr. Michael Katz (Israeli American) who had been instrumental in the former Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin’s deal with PLO Chairman Yasser Arafat, Mr. Oz Sultan, District Leader of the Republican Party from Harlem, and a State Delegate of the Republican Party, Dr. Ugoji Eze, Barrister and an active NGO head at the United Nations, Mr. Farooq Mirza of Washington Global Forum, and others.
They discussed the current situation in Gaza and agreed to work with the peace-loving silent majority to arrive at a viable solution acceptable to the parties facing the conflict, i.e., the Israelis and Palestinians. They agreed that a two-state solution living side by side at peace is the only sustainable solution for the region.
The American leaderships of Pakistani, Egyptian, Jordanian, and Israeli origin should come forward to play a pivotal role not only in resolving the issue, but in the aftermath of collateral damages to facilitate the rehabilitation process of the displaced. It is about time to work shoulder to shoulder to address the humanitarian crisis emerging out of this deadly conflict/war, emphasized Dr. Gholam Mujtaba.
The leaders agreed that the Palestinians, Israelis, and Muslim leaders of America need to rebuild cohesion and confidence among Jewish and Muslim communities in this country, and work for a peaceful resolution. The role of American society is vital to spin the peace process including a two-state solution.
Mr. Michael Katz, Mr. Oz Sultan, Barrister Dr. Ugoji Eze, Mr. Farooq Mirza,
Professor Dr. Gholam Mujtaba and others.
