Karachi: The newly elected District Governor of Rotary International 3271 Dr. Aftab Imam with First Lady Dr. Fouzia Aftab and other Rotarians were also present on the occasion of the District Installation Ceremony 2021-22 of Rotary International District 3271.
On this occasion Past District Governor of Rotary International 3271 Professor Dr. Farhan Essa, District Secretary Syed Kashif Rafi, District Rotary Coordinator Waqar Shaikh, District Joint Secretary Humera Qazi,District Treasurer Farhan Shah, District Trainer Atiqua Vally, Deputy Governor Zeeshan Altaf Lohia, Kausar Aslam newly elected Assistant Governor RY 2021-22 Rotary International Districts 3271, Chaudhary Ansar Jawad Director 2021-22 Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus, Rotary International District 3271, Zubair Baweja General Secretary 2021-22 Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus, Ali Haider newly elected President 2021-22 of Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus, Dr. Khalid Hussain Sheikh Director Health 2021-22 RCK Nexus and Aslam Khaliq Founder & Executive Secretary Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus are present.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Aftab Imam District Governor Rotary International 3271, said that we have to work hard for the prosperity and success of Pakistan so that the country is free from poverty, unemployment, illiteracy and health problems as well as energy crises.
He said that Rotary International is working to eradicate polio, thalassemia, coronavirus and other deadly diseases from the country. Dr. Aftab Imam said that Pakistan has to adapt to the requirements of the 21st century so that development and prosperity come to the country and Pakistan’s development and prosperity is an example to the world.
He said that Rotary International achieves its goals. Dr. Aftab Imam said that more and more Rotary Clubs and Rotarians are being set up to do more welfare work together, especially to solve the basic problems faced by the people of rural areas. To provide clean drinking water, Rotary International is providing tube wells, water filtration plants and solar energy in these rural areas to raise their standard of living while establishing cattle farms for agriculture and livestock breeding.
