KARACHI: Diya Academy has departed for a tour of Malaysia, where they will participate in various high-category football and futsal tournaments. A 36-member squad, comprising girls and boys, will compete in the U-15 Girls, U-15 Boys, and U-13 Boys events.
The team includes several officials: Founder and President Sadia Sheikh, Naila Sheikh, Vice President Dr. Fizza, and Manager Sheikh Ali. The tournament will run until July 30.
Sadia Sheikh expressed confidence in the team’s preparation, stating, “The girls and boys players have worked hard and prepared for the tournament and will achieve success with the grace of Allah. Playing with foreign players in international tours helps the players to learn new football techniques, which helps in improving their skills.”
She emphasized the academy’s commitment, adding, “The players of Diya Academy participate in domestic and foreign tournaments with determination and the spirit of winning.”
Diya Academy’s participation in international events not only aims to showcase their talent but also to enhance their skills through exposure to different playing styles and techniques.
