Engin Altan Düzyatan is a Turkish actor well known for a Turkish series Dirilis Ertugrul in which he played the main role “Ertugrul” and it consists of five seasons and 150 episodes (448 on Netflix). He has won billion of hearts and people love him across the world.
He was born in Kar??yaka, district of ?zmir Province in Turkey on 26 July 1979. He was graduated from Dokuz Eylul University. He was married to Nesli?ah Alkoçlar in 2014 and has two children, a son Emir Aras who was born in 2016 and a daughter Alara who was born in 2018.
He came on screen in the television series Ruhsar in 2001 as a supporting actor and then appeared in many of the films and series. He was very famous in Turkey but his worldwide success and popularity starts from his project Dirilis Ertugrul which he did between the time periods 2014-19. He came in as Ertugrul Bey and won hearts around the world.
The series Dirilis Ertugrul was filmed in a village Riva in Beykoz district of Istanbul, Turkey and was premiered on TRT 1 on 10 December 2014 to 29 May 2019. It was written by Mehmet Bozda? and directed by Metin Gunay. It had such a talented cast which includes famous Turkish actress Esra Bilgiç who played the role as Halime Sultan, the first wife of Ertugrul. It was a Turkish series but later it was dubbed into Urdu for Pakistanis and as a result Pakistanis are in love with the series as well as the whole cast.
Engin Altan Düzyatan also came to Pakistan on a short visit on the invitation of a private business company. Pakistan’s Make-A-Wish Foundation arranged a meeting between Engin Altan Düzyatan and three young terminally ill fans and this meeting was a source of happiness for them. He also wishes to be a part in Pakistani drama series.
