Director General NAVTTC Sindh Mr. Muhammad Ali Chachar visited Federation House Karachi on 8th November, 2022 and held meeting with Mr. Muhammad Suleman Chawla, Senior Vice President and Engr. M.A Jabbar Vice President FPCCI to discuss the Training needs analysis as per industry demand requirements.
DG NAVTTC Sindh briefed Senior Management of FPCCI about the vision, mission and achievements of NAVTTC and shared overall statistics of success stories of trainees who were enrolled in different batches and now have been employed at various organizations.
It was informed to FPCCI regarding the training program in Sindh Province, under “Skills For All” Program, Batch-III wherein the overwhelming response of unemployed youth of the Province against the allocated quota. Under this training program NAVTTC Karachi had engaged more than 134 institutes in Hi-Tech and Conventional streams of technical training. Among the salient features of this training is the inclusion of 21 Prominent Universities across the province.
Speaking on the occasion the DG NAVTTC said that introduction of Hi-Tech training in the country reflects upon the futuristic approach of the current government in response to the globally changing scenario of employment in emerging fields. He further said that we have to prepare our youth for the future; Hi-tech training in this connection will foster economic growth through gainful employment.
DG NAVTTC further informed about a recent initiative whereby a joint “Skill Testing & Certification Program Takamol” has been launched by KSA SVP & NAVTTC Pakistan for Pakistani skilled workforce to maximize the chances of employment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Engr. M.A Jabbar appreciated the suggestion of public-private partnership in macro-structuring of the skilled workforce with joint research from FPCCI platform to produce a certified workforce that caters to industry needs.
The senior management of FPCCI agreed to include/place NAVTTC Job Portal link named ‘’NEXT’’ on FPCCI website so that industry can take benefit by registering their business as employer and also search relevant human resource for employment need in order to efficiently hire the skilled manpower with ease.
