Karachi : Muhammad Noman Saigal Former Minister Government of Sindh and FPCCI Standing Committee Chairman on Communication Affairs has expressed that the Diplomats always play a vital role to bring the Countries together round the globe.
He further assessed that Pakistan can take tremendous fruitful results if seasonedpoliticians, businessmen and professionals start communicating, discussing sharing various observations with each other may lead to a very strong relationship among differentcountries. Only a department of Foreign Affairs could not full fill the needs required in this regard.
Pakistan has friendly relation with various countries but many countries don’t have consulates in the major cities of the country including Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, & Quetta. At least the Consulate should be active in these cities if not then at least a sub camp office should be there. We observe that the only function of the consulate is only to issue Visa for travelling to that Country but this is not the only function of the Consulate. The consulate all over the globe provide heritage, information about the history of the country advice for the department projects, taxation, joint venture projects business travels open border agreements, exchange of students policies, business activities technology transfer ,social interaction and many more.
It has also been observed that strength between the countries is mostly due to the permanent role of the Consul Generals of the Countries at large.
Pakistani nation is a friendly nation believes in socializing and interacting with friends in the country as well as outside the country. So it is very effective when the other nations react in the same way which has been observed that many Diplomates are concerned in this regard and active in day to day affaire but if this activity is enhanced will give positive results at large.
