Dennis Quaid and Laura Savoie have surprised everyone as they secretly got married at a seaside resort in Santa Barbara on June 2.
The couple, who got engaged in October 2019, had planned to tie the knot in a Hawaii wedding in April before having a second reception in Nashville, but had to delay their plans due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Savoie, for her wedding day, rocked a gorgeous backless dress which featured a long train and a knee-length veil. The doctoral student walked down the aisle with a bouquet of roses and calla lilies.
Dennis Quaid, 66, described it as “beautiful”, adding that “she’s the most stunning bride.”

Last year, Quaid defended the 39-year age gap between himself and Savoie, who is one year younger than his son Jack.
“I didn’t go out looking for an age gap or someone really younger than me,” he told The Guardian. “I met her at a business event and then the relationship developed.
“You have no control over who you fall in love with,” he continued. “I don’t fall in love easily. But I can’t let what a few people think control all that. I’ve been married three times and this is the final one, I know it is. I feel like I have a real partner in life.”
Meanwhile, Savoie, 27, said of her husband: “Just getting to do life with someone who lives that way is inspiring for me. It changes my perspective and it brings so much joy to every day.”
This is Quaid’s fourth marriage. He was previously married to actress P.J Soles, Meg Ryan — with whom he shares 28-year-old son Jack — and real estate agent Kimberly Buffington, with whom he has 12-year-old twins Zoe and Thomas, 12.
Savoie is working on her Ph.D in accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.
