MIRPUR KHAS – The Deputy Commissioner Mirpurkhas Salamat Ali Memon last night along with DHO Dr. Mushtaq Shah made a surprise visit to the Civil Hospital, Where he enquired about medical facilities treatment to the patients; inspected the various sections medical store/local pharmacy, x-ray data, checked cleanliness conditions, sufficient and hygienic food provided to patients 2 times properly or not, hygienic atmosphere and other things during night shifts especially with complaints of lower staff on duty instead of a professional doctor and paramedical staff, etc.
DC was very much annoyed by the various complaints and directed the DHO to properly monitor and vigil over the situation and report daily to higherups and himself.No negligence would be tolerated on any part of respective officials or staff furthermore.
The DC warned that he would continue to visit surprisingly at any time Any responsible will not be spared. He further directed the MS DR.Harchand and DHO both to more vigil and overcome the problems and issues of needy patients and visitors who came from far away for treatment.
The contractor called and asked him to provide quality food and ensure hygenic and as SOPs.Provide medicine from a local pharmacy, ensure proper cleanliness and punctuality of paramedics staff with responsible duty doctor hence forthwith otherwise disciplinary action would be initiated against negligent officials as per rules, he added. The DC visited more than an hour of Gynae, children, cardiac, emergency wards, bath/washrooms, etc.
