HYDERABAD: Religious scholars have said that on the Day of Ghadir, Allah Almighty caused the Holy Prophet (PBUH) to make the most significant declaration of his prophethood, and it was from this very day that hostility toward the chain of Wilayat reached its peak—a hostility that continued even after the tragedy of Karbala.
These views were expressed by Allama Ayaz Ali Qumi and renowned Zakir-e-Ahl-e-Bait (AS) Syed Gauhar Abbas Naqvi while addressing the central annual Majlis-e-Aza held in connection with the martyrdom of Imam Musa Kazim (AS) at Roza-e-Athar Masooma-e-Sindh Syeda Khadija Maham (AS) in Agham Kot, Sindh. The annual mourning gathering was organized by the Zaireen Khidmat Committee Agham Kot Sindh under the patronage of Syed Manzar Naqvi.

The speakers stated that enmity against the system of Imamat intensified from Ghadir and continued relentlessly, resulting in eleven Imams attaining martyrdom through the sword or poison. They said the martyrdom of the seventh Imam, Imam Musa Kazim (AS), is also a link in this painful chain of oppression.
They added that on the day of Imam Musa Kazim’s (AS) martyrdom, thousands of devotees gathered in Agham Kot to offer condolences to his ????? ??? ?????? daughter at the shrine of Masooma-e-Sindh. The speakers strongly condemned the prolonged halt in the construction work of Roza-e-Athar and demanded its immediate completion.
Prior to the main address, renowned elegy reciters including Syed Ali Raza Shah Kazmi of Karachi, Syed Ali Raza Shah Kazmi of Sajan Sawai, Saleem Raza Sehar, Syed Ghulam Shabbir Shah, Agha Arsalan Mirza, and others presented Nauhas in the court of Imamat.
Following separate male and female mourning gatherings, the annual symbolic coffin procession was taken out, accompanied by Nauha-khwani, matam-dari, and zanjeer-zani. The central annual mourning continued till late at night, with thousands of mourners from across Sindh participating.
Security duties were performed by the Hussaini Scouts Agham Kot Sindh under the supervision of Haji Hassan Ali Laghari, while volunteers from the Rind community assisted in organizational arrangements. Despite severe illness, Zawar Abdul Sattar Dars remained present from morning till night, while overall arrangements were managed by Zawar Niaz Hussain Laghari and his family.
