ISPR has said that Corps Commander Rawalpindi Lt Gen Sahir Shamshad Mirza and Corps Commander Karachi Lt Gen Saeed Ahmed have visited the flood affected areas.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), Corps Commander Rawalpindi Lt. Gen. Sahir Shamshad Mirza visited remote areas of Kohistan.
ISPR said that during the visit, the corps commander reviewed the relief operations of the army personnel to help the flood affected people and the corps commander appreciated the efforts of the army personnel for helping the local population.
In the message issued, ISPR says that Corps Commander Karachi Lt Gen Saeed Ahmed also visited Larkana, Nowshehro Feroze, Khairpur, Shah Jilani village and Qamber Shahdadkot.
Meanwhile, the Corps Commander was briefed about the rescue and relief operations in the affected areas.
