Consumers are also deprived of their legitimate rights in Pakistan : Mohammad Sajid Mughal.

Karachi – March 12, 2023) President of Tehreek Jawanaan Pakistan (Sindh Division) Mohammad Sajid Mughal has said in his message regarding World Consumer Day on March 15 that consumers are deprived of their legitimate rights in Pakistan due to ignorance of rights. The shopkeepers are freely exploiting the consumer while the government institutions, human rights organizations, consumer representative organizations and civic bodies do not take any action against the shopkeepers who are violating the rights of the consumer. Muhammad Sajid Mughal said that the inaction of the consumers in Pakistan. Millions of consumers are deprived of their rights due to lack of awareness of their rights and corruption in the government agencies responsible for consumer rights. They have also closed their eyes on this side. He said that the consumer should know that he can approach the consumer court against the shopkeeper or traders or against the company for his redress. Consumer representative organizations can provide this information to the consumers. Muhammad Sajid said that the World Consumer Rights Day will be celebrated on March 15, including Pakistan, all over the world, especially in Karachi and other cities of Sindh. Organize programs to create awareness on World Consumer Day.
